At Kingfield Pilates and Movement, we have the flexibility to design classes around you.

Kingfield Pilates classes feature a unique mix that is hard to find elsewhere—technically spot-on Pilates instruction (rooted in Balanced Body) that also incorporates a healthy dose of fun, a bit more cardio than typically associated with Pilates, along with a subtle way of connecting movements together that comes from Colleen's dance background.

We offer private instruction, as well as classes for small groups. All classes are tailored to the needs of our clients and make use of a range of Balanced Body Pilates equipment: Reformer, Springboard wall unit and EXO Chair with slastics, Ark Barrel and Barre, mats, rollers, physio balls and lots of other helpful props.

Note about class availability and getting started: Our schedule stays close to full, though we are also in most cases able to find a spot that works for new clients. For this reason, the easiest way to get started is to reach out and let us know what you are looking for (type of class and preferred scheduling), and we will then get back to you with some options.

Private Classes

Privates offer a great opportunity rapidly reap the benefits of Pilates, particularly for those who are able to work in multiple sessions per week. Privates are also easy to arrange, scheduled according to your preferred days and times.

Multi-client Classes

Multi-client sessions offer an economic advantage and, with size limited to duos, trios and quartets, still offer plenty of individual instruction and the opportunity for a fantastic workout.

If you are interested in a multi-client client class, let us know and we will work on forming a class for you with others with similar schedule and interests. Or form your own small class with friends or family. Class options include:

  • Pilates circuit. Colleen gets participants working out on different pieces of a equipment, spending time with each client as you cycle through.

  • Pilates mat. While Pilates is mostly associated with the equipment, Pilates mat can be a revelation, which you can then build into your own home mat practice.

  • Barre. For those looking to focus on cardio, Colleen is known for teaching a fun, exhilarating barre class that has just the right amount of intensity.

Additional Options

We have a number of class options that are either seasonal or occur according to client demand, so be sure to let us know if you have interest in any of the following:

  • Boot camps

  • Pilates by the lake

  • In-home instruction

  • Large group mat

  • Pilates by Skype

  • Dance for kids and adults
